Strategy

From helping to independently evaluate the strategic logic behind a specific investment to the development of a full strategic plan, we provide advice and support to tasks and activities dependent on superior strategic thinking and analysis. The goal is to overcome barriers, whether analytical and/or behavioural, inhibiting a good decision or set of decisions. Regardless of the nature of the engagement, our approach is based on proven strategic frameworks and methodologies, the collective experience of our global network of advisers, and our ability to be relevant, candid and straight-forward.

Governance and Stakeholder Engagement

We believe that well-informed and well-functioning Executive Teams and Boards of Governors (such as Directors, Trustees and equivalents) are key to making smart choices and transforming organizations. Accordingly, we provide support to a range of governance-related needs, such as onboarding new Board Members, providing insight to CEO-Board interactions, and/or conducting independent development assessments of Executive Teams or Boards and/or future members.

In addition, given the importance of proactively engaging with an exhaustive set of stakeholders when making high-impact decisions, we also advise on how and when to engage with stakeholders, including how to craft and communicate a stance and messaging that produces constructive conversation.

Leadership Coaching and Development

Since wise decision-making and strong leadership go hand-in-hand, we recognize the importance of arming leaders with the right skills and improving their capacity to learn and grow as leaders.

We therefore offer a range of leadership coaching and development services, often in the context of strategic or governance-related work. Sometimes an assessment of the leadership system within which the leader or leaders are working is specified. Interventions for current or future leaders are personalized and are geared towards helping leaders understand themselves and their context so as to make better decisions and successfully drive change in their organization.
